If you've been at the email marketing game for some time (months, or even years!), you know that you can gather significant insights into the marketing trends of your mailings. These trends include social media, delivery, open rates, click through, forwards, and much more. Being able to put your finger on the pulse of the trends around your marketing is a key competitive advantage for you and your organization.
Navigate to Mailings > Reports > Mailing > Summary Report (or navigate to Mailings > View Mailings and click Reports in the upper right corner).
Select the appropriate filters in the Filter Mailings section on the Select Mailings tab.
Click on the View Reports tab to see your filtered list of mailings.
Navigate to the View Trends Over Time > Marketing Trends subfolder in the Reports panel on the left.
Immediately, you have insights into as much or as little information as you'd like, based on the checkboxes that are available on the left side of the report. This includes reporting on social media, forwarding, clicks, delivery, opens, number of mailings, and much more. Not only that, but you can scale your results by Week, Month, Quarter, or Year:
To share this information, simply click the icon at the bottom of the Delivery Rate Trends report table and select how you'd like to export your file.
Get the General Subscriber Insights to Your Mailings
If you are noticing that your subscribers are sharing on social media, you can react to this information. If you see that they are forwarding, you can use that knowledge to get forward recipients to subscribe. You can also infer about how well you are delivering. The Marketing Trends report is a great summary of your reach and engagement.
