It can be very difficult to stay organized when multiple people are sending mailings through Informz. Just imagine the chaos that could ensue if people sent out their own mailings without checking to see the other mailings are scheduled for that day! To avoid this problem and others, use the Informz calendar to keep everybody in the loop about what's being sent on any given day.
The calendar displays scheduled mailings, as well as previously sent mailings. If you use the tentative send date feature, the calendar will also display those upcoming mailings that people are considering sending. This is great scheduling information to know BEFORE you schedule your mailing. It creates that window of opportunity to have a discussion with your colleagues about the possibility of moving the send date - or perhaps just the time. Ask your Advisor about enabling tentative send date.
Navigate to Mailings > View > select a mailing > Modify > Send tab.
Once in the send tab, click calendar.
The Calendar window displays. Use the calendar to see if any other mailings are planned for that day (you will know which mailings are planned based on the calendar key color scheme).
There are some mailing types that don't display on the calendar. These are triggered mailings and campaign designer mailings. The reason for this is because these types of mailings "stream" out rather than only being sent at one date and time.
But wait...there's more!
