Despite your best intentions, you may have subscribers that have slipped through the targeting cracks. You thought you had each subscriber receiving at least one mailing, well, let's check to make sure that's true.
Using the Subscribers Emailed & Opened report you can easily identify an untapped cohort of subscribers that have not received your message - well, not yet but they will soon (after using this report).
Navigate to Mailings > Reports > Mailing Summary Report or navigate to Mailings > View Mailings > click on Reports in the upper right corner. Once you have done so, you may follow the steps to filter the exact mailings you are looking to report on.
Click the View Reports tab.
Expand the Analyze Subscribers folder in the Reports panel.
Click Subscribers Emailed & Opened.
You now have an understanding of which subscribers you emailed, and which ones opened your mailings that you specified in the Mailing Summary Report filter. Clicking on any slice of the pie will let you drill down to see the subscribers in that segment.
You are able to export either of these charts as an image file by clicking on the icon in the top right hand corner of each chart.
Is Silence Truly Golden?
The Subscribers Emailed & Opened report sheds light on the percentages of your subscriber base that you may not be reaching out to, or it can reveal that you have large amounts of individuals who could become part of other publications. Or, perhaps you are noticing that you are emailing everyone, with very little response in the Unique Subscribers Opened chart. No matter what the report speaks to, it will shed light on your audiences engagement and your outreach.
