Release Date: June 29, 2017
This release includes changes to Template and Mailing Designer in preparation for the public release on July 5, 2017.
Campaign Designer now supports TD/MD 2.0 mailings. Users can work with and copy any campaigns created with TD/MD 2.0 mailings.
Rich Text Editor
The Rich Text Editor has new controls to support the following:
- Alignment (Left, Center, and Right)
- Font Family
- Font Size
Font Family and Font Size are controlled on a “per block” basis (i.e. each paragraph or heading is controlled individually – character-by-character controls are not supported).
When a Template Theme is locked, the Font Family and Font Size controls are unavailable.
Additionally, we’ve removed the following style properties from all layouts (except Sections):
- Text Color*
- Background Color*
Items denoted with asterisks remain for buttons (these are styled differently).
Social Sharing Layouts
Users in Template Designer 2.0 can now add the Social Share layout when building custom layouts or as an option to include as a story when setting up a Mailing Content Area.
The default Social Share Icon Set layout includes:
Informz provides default social icons (users can change these icons). Additionally, users can rearrange the icons and specify a default icon size:
- 16x16 pixels (Small)
- 32x32 pixels (Medium)
- 48x48 pixels (Large)
The Social Sharing Post links to either a web version of the mailing or a specific web page.
- If linked to a web version of the mailing, users may select an image for the post.
- If linked to a specific web page and including Twitter and AddThis, users must specify a title. They cannot publish the mailing without a title. Users can define the URL.
